Medical practices using DPN want to exchange information with other practices in a secure and seamless fashion with other medical practices using other EMR software. DPN-Connect provides non-DPN users with access to DPN without cost to them.

DPN-Connect provides the following functions without charge:

DPN-Message: Secure messaging with video and audio messaging plus attachments between any members DPN, doctors, staff, patients, billers, transcriptionists.
DPN-Fax: Secure and automated file exchange between medical organizations ONLY.
Scheduling: Graphical Appointment Calendar, Clinical Session Manager, Patient Tracking Screen. Resource manager.
Basic EMR: Digital Medical Records minus the many of the advanced features of EMR. Upgrade to Doctations or directly to TTP at any time.

As always with DPN solutions, all functionality is deeply integrated with all other functionality, sharing a common database and even common web services. Data re-entry never happens in DPN. Also, there is no separate process synchronizing data between different modules. In DPN, all functionality shares data in real-time because anything less poses a risk to patient care and adds unnecessary "data re-entry" work to the normal workflow in medical organizations.
