DPN-FAX

Medical organizations frequently need to exchange information between each other in the normal daily process of caring for patients. Much of this exchange today is performed using the fax machine at considerable cost to both the "sending" and "receiving" organizations. This cost includes staff time, failed send leading to re-send, received fax filing, and the costs of operating the fax machine itself.

DPN provides DPN-FAX as a tool for exchange of a set of documents between medical organizations. You can add documents from the user's desktop, the current medical chart, uploaded documents from the CFC (Clinical File Cabinet) to send to another medical practice registered on DPN.

DPN-FAX is a tool that not only replaces the office fax machine for exchange of clinical documents, it adds features that allow for automated chart creation for the receiving organization and automate document filing as well. DPN-FAX allows for secure, HIPAA compliant exchange of information between medical practices AND automation of filing at the receiving end.
